Job Title – Bid Sales & Support Executive
Job Location – Hybrid with the requirement to attend the head office in Leicester 3 to 5 days per month.
Salary – £35k
You will be responsible for developing relationships across key internal stakeholders both in the UK and across wider Group in support of tender activity.
You will work collaboratively with the sales team with the completion of tenders to achieve a successful award. These will be across the mobility solutions: Car, LCV, Car Sharing and Subscription solutions and develop the tender proposition to ensure that it remains aligned to the Group’s mobility strategy.
You will also Monitor and track new tender releases via the nominated online portals.
The role offers hybrid working with the requirement to attend our head office in Leicester 3 to 5 days per month.
Main duties of the role:
- Manage the complete end to end tender process of all sales opportunities including RFPs/RFQs
- Completion of pre-tender or due diligence questionnaires and creation of pre/post tender action plans.
- Effectively maintain tracker subscriptions and review daily/weekly tracker alerts to identify any potential tenders appropriate for car and/or van rental including corporate car sharing.
- Manage Tender Support inbox, providing timely responses to internal and external enquiries
- Ensure that all submissions are relevant, compelling and completed to an extremely high standard with a solution based focus.
- Proposing alternative mobility solutions for consideration should be considered
- Maintain a tracker of all past, present and future tenders for deep dive analysis.
- Work alongside the Marketing Team to develop sales material including corporate presentations in support tender submissions as well as cross/up selling opportunities.
- Take full ownership of maintaining information in the department’s knowledgebase to provide an accurate and up to date single point of reference.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in bid writing/management is essential and such experience within the automotive rental or leasing market would be desirable.
- Communicate at all levels in order to build strong working relationships necessary to fulfil this role and be an effective team player.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
- PC literacy in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are essential.
- Experience in Google applications (Drive/Mail/Calendar) and Salesforce or similar CRM tool would be desirable.
