Job Title – Travel Consultant – Golf Holidays

Salary and benefit – £18k basic with a £32k plus OTE
The position will ideally suit an enthusiastic golfer who has a passion for the game or a travel expert that has experience of long haul golf holidays.
In the role you will be dealing with callers who are responding to adverts they have seen in the media relating to worldwide golf holidays. They need you to turn the golf enquiry into tailor-made booking.
Our client is one of the UKs leading Golf Tour Operator who have been trading for over thirty years.
They provide a comprehensive training programme, which covers all aspects of the job plus continuous development training.
Responsibilities:
- Act in a professional and efficient manner to phone and email enquiries
- Take details from the customer
- Communicate in a polite and friendly way to identify the customer’s exact needs and requirements
- Follow up with customers, venues and other third parties to close sales and take payment
- Identify potential new business from old leads
- Use initiative to up-sell and cross-sell other products to the customer
- To maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training
