Salary: £30,500 (Pro rata)
Location: Leicester & Hybrid
This is a fixed term contract role to cover maternity leave for 7 months.
Based in our clients Leicester Head Office (but with the option of home working on a flexible basis) the role will require the individual to deliver a competitive advantage and sustainable value to all UK spend.
The successful candidate will be required to manage negotiations and contractual agreements with a wide portfolio of suppliers.
You will be expected to lead a variety of RFPs and tenders in order to support strategic cost-saving targets.
You will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement process across supplier categories ranging from Marketing and Professional services to Maintenance & Repair of Vehicles and Facilities Management.
Main duties:
- Price and contract negotiations with external suppliers
- Execution of RFPs and tenders
- Supporting Business Process owners with negotiations and contractual queries
- Working closely with the Legal, Finance and Contract management teams
- Promoting sourcing and procurement processes and procedures
- Suppliers spend analysis and benchmarking
- Optimisation of existing and future supplier relationships, processes and spend
- Achieving UK and Group cost-saving targets
