As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Events & Travel Manager to join their London team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious travel professional with a strong background in corporate travel and events management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex travel arrangements, coordinating corporate events, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will oversee end-to-end travel and event requirements for high-profile corporate clients while identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Travel Management
- Manage complex domestic and international business travel arrangements.
- Book and amend flights, hotels, rail, transfers, visas, and ancillary services.
- Utilise Sabre GDS to create, manage, and modify bookings efficiently.
- Provide expert travel advice and itinerary planning.
- Handle urgent travel changes and disruptions while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with client travel policies and service level agreements.
Corporate Events Management
- Coordinate and manage corporate events, conferences, meetings, incentives, and group travel programmes.
- Source venues, accommodation, transportation, and event suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with suppliers.
- Manage event logistics from planning through to delivery.
- Monitor event budgets and maximise profitability.
- Attend events where required to oversee successful execution.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients.
- Deliver a consultative, solution-focused approach.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling services.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Business Development
- Support new business opportunities and client growth initiatives.
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Generate additional revenue through travel and event services.
Requirements:
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a high-pressure corporate/business travel environment.
- Proven experience managing corporate travel arrangements and events.
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience using Sabre GDS.
- Strong fares, ticketing, routing, and itinerary construction knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and revenue-generating mindset.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience managing VIP, executive, or high-profile client accounts.
- Knowledge of group travel and incentive travel programmes.
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts and rates.
- Additional GDS knowledge would be advantageous.
